Question How to back up my records with information about solved levels?
 Answer
Pocket Sokoban stores records in the stat.dat file. You may back up this file time by time if you don't want to loose them. Just locate this file and copy it to the safe place such as a flash card or a desktop computer. The stat.dat file is located in the same folder as the Pocket Sokoban executable file. Default installation folder is "\Program Files\Games\Pocket Sokoban". Please note that the folder name is local-depended. For instance for German devices it should be something like "\Programme\Spiele\Pocket Sokoban".

Question What Pocket PCs are supported by your game?
 Answer
Pocket Sokoban was tested on Asus MyPal A620BT, iPaq H5450 and HP Jornada 540. We suppose that it should run on every model of Pocket PC, Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket PC 2003 with Windows CE 3.0 or higher. However we cannot make a warranty that the game will run on your device due to big variety of Pocket PC devices available on market. If you have any problem running this game on a particular kind of PDA please let us know. Your help is very much appreciated.

Question I’ve downloaded from the Internet a file with Sokoban levels.
How could I load them into Pocket Sokoban?
 Answer
Level files are stored in “\My Documents\Sokoban” folder of your PDA. Your new file must be also placed into this folder to make it available for Pocket Sokoban.

We suppose that you as a PDA owner already know how to synchronize files between desktop computer and PDA. When no, we recommend reading your PDA user’s manual.

We also provide short instructions below.

We recommend using ActiveSync synchronization to transfer a file to a device. To use this way please connect your device to a desktop computer in “Standard Partnership” mode. In this case a “Synchronized Files” folder with name “Pocket_PC My Documents” will be created on the desktop of your computer. Be sure to turn File Synchronization on.
Just place the file you want to transfer to “Pocket_PC My Documents\Sokoban” folder. Within a few seconds file will be transferred to your mobile device.

Alternatively you can place a levels file into “\My Documents\Sokoban” folder manually using windows explorer when your device is connected to the desktop computer. Use this way if your device is connected in “Guest Partnership” mode or if the File Synchronization for some reason is turned off.

Run Pocket Sokoban game and choose menu “Load file”. Find the file in the list and press the button “Load”.
