Pocket Sokoban is a shareware. To be short the word "Shareware" means "try before buy". Pocket Sokoban remains fully functional during 15-days evaluation period. After this you must either remove it from your PDA or register.

ATTENTION! We encourage you to carefully test the game on your device before paying for it. Due to big variety of Pocket PC's available on the market it is possible that the game may not run properly on some devices. Please notify us about such cases.

Registration consists of three easy steps:

1. Pay registration fee. Regular registration fee is $12.99 but currently we have the limited time promotional offer $6.99.
2. Obtain an activation code. After paying a registration fee you will either obtain an activation code by e-mail or be instructed how to get from our site.
3. Register the game. To do this you need only open the About box and press the button Register. The registration window will appear and you'll enter the activation code into the designated field. That's it. The game is registered.

Sokoban was invented in Japan by Hiroyuki Imabayashi. The word "Sokoban" means "warehouse keeper" in Japanese. Rules of Sokoban are very simple. Imagine yourself a warehouse keeper. You must push boxes in the crowded warehouse to their correct positions with a minimal number of moves. Boxes can only be pushed, never pulled. You can push only one box at a time.

Sometimes the box may get into unrecoverable position, for example into a corner. In this case the game is lost and you must start the level over again.

Use hardware buttons of your PDA to move the man and push stones. Usually the five-ways navigation key (available in the majority of PDA's) moves the man left, right, up and down. You can adjust keys behavior so they better fit your kind of PDA. Just choose "Options" from the menu "Extras" and press the button "Setup keys".

Alternatively you can use the stylus (pen). Tap with stylus on an empty space and Sokoban will go there. You can also move stones along a straight line. Tap a stone that you want to move and then tap on an empty space. If the man can find a way it will push the stone there.

Levels are distributed in text files. Every text file contains dozens or even hundreds levels.

All you need to make a level file available for the Pocket Sokoban is to place it into "\My Documents\Sokoban" folder of your device. After this just open the File dialog and choose this file in the list. File description which is usually present at the beginning of the file will appear. This description usually contains author’s name and copyright information and a few words about the level collection. Press the button Load and levels from the selected file will be loaded into Pocket Sokoban and first level will appear on the screen.

You can iterate through levels by pressing Next, Previous and Next not solved buttons.

If you need to quickly go to a particular level just open the Navigation dialog. Here you can select any level in the list and press the button Load.
